Upcoming Training Opportunities
Fundamentals – Foundational training in a weekly class format that will count toward Phase 1 of ACBC Certification, but is truly beneficial to anyone who is seeking to learn how they can minister (formally or informally) using God’s Word to those He has placed in their lives. Unlike previous years, this will be offered January-April of 2024 (class will still end in the spring). Registration will be open in Fall of 2023.
Observations – Observing 10 sessions of counseling from an ACBC certified counselor. At this time, we are not offering Observations as a class. We would recommend fulfilling this portion of Phase One of certification through IBCD’s Observation Videos, which can be purchased with a yearly or monthly subscription found here: IBCD Subscription

Counseling Symposium
Join us to hear Randy Patten, former executive director for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), answer “Counseling Failure Factors: Why Counseling Fails and What Counselors Should Do When They Get Stuck”. Come to be encouraged and equipped in your current counseling cases and the ones ahead!
November 3-4: Friday evening (6-8:30 PM) and Saturday morning (9-11:30 AM).
